What is your service area?

  • We specialize in permanent placement throughout the United States and temporary/travel positions throughout California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Alaska and Hawaii.

What is the difference between PRN/On Call and what does it mean?

  • There isn’t a difference. This type of employment is for people that want to work a couple days a week or month. We call the day of or the day prior to ask you to work.

What is temp to perm?

  • This type of employment is for people that want to find a permanent postion and the facility also is seeking to hire permanently. The therapist works as a temporary employee through PT On Call until both parties determine a permanent solution is a viable.

What is permanent placement/direct hire?

  • This type of employment is for people that know what type of setting/facility they want to work in and let us find the most appropriate position based on their employment goals and skill set.

Why use PTOC rather than apply on my own?

  • PT On Call, P.S. has been servicing the entire Northwest for almost 29 years. Our staff members have experience ranging from 7 to 29 years. We know our facilities and we know their staff. Many times, we know of their long term needs prior to them ever advertising. Many times, they don’t have an opening but they will make one for a candidate we present to them because they know that therapist will be an asset to their facility.

I have been told not to work for a registry as a new graduate. What type of mentoring does PT On Call offer?

  • We hire approximately 5 new graduates per year. We ensure that wherever we place them, there will be mentoring provided at that facility.
